NPL

nursing premier league

Welcome to the Nursing Premier League (NPL) — Pakistan’s first purpose-driven cricket league

dedicated exclusively to the nursing community. NPL is where passion for sports meets pride in the

nursing profession, creating unity, visibility, and inspiration through healthy competition.

Our History

NPL was founded two years ago with a simple but powerful idea

to unite nurses through sports.

Season 1 (Trial Season)

A pilot tournament between Horizon School of Nursing & Health Sciences and Suvastu School of Nursing. The overwhelming response validated the concept, with Horizon emerging as the winning team.

Season 2 (Expansion Season)

Expanded participation from multiple nursing institutions across Karachi, transforming NPL into a recognized inter-institutional league.

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

To become Pakistan’s leading sports and advocacy platform that empowers nurses, challenges stereotypes, and promotes a positive, progressive image of the nursing profession nationwide.

Our Mission

To unite nursing institutions through healthy sports competition. To promote teamwork, leadership, and mental well-being among nurses. To challenge outdated stereotypes associated with nursing. To create national-level visibility for nursing talent beyond academics. To build a sustainable sports culture within the healthcare community.
